Decaying Autumn Palette
All Hallows Eve is just around the corner, so let's explore this haunting mini palette.
Halloween fun isn't only for Deep Autumns
While Deep Autumns and True Autumns will have an easier time wearing these colors, Soft Autumns and Warm Autumns will be able to get the same feel by finding similar shades within their tonal directions.
So what makes an Autumn Season?
Generally, if you are an Autumn season in the 16 Season Color Analysis System, you will fall into the tonal direction of Warm, Soft, and Deep.

Autumns have warm to neutral-warm undertones. This means that yellow-based or foundations, lip colors, and blush colors look better on you. Your natural hair color also plays a role in typing you as warm-toned. There are instances where a person can have cool-toned skin and warm-toned hair and be typed as warm-toned, it is rare but not impossible.
You will be soft, which means that your tolerance for very bright, clear colors is low and that muted tone colors look better. Essentially, if we put an extremely clear and bright color against you, you would shrink back into the background, and the color would overwhelm you.
Autumns are typed as Deep. This can be a controversial part of color analysis processes, but all this means is that the overall appearance of your features read as deep. That means a combination of your eyes, hair, eyebrows, and skin tone. Not all of these features need to be deep. In fact, you can be fair-skinned and even be typed as a Deep Autumn, but your hair, eyes, and eyebrows will appear deep. The reverse can also be true. As always, the ultimate direction will be what the color drapes tell us in relation to your appearance.
Colors of the Mini Palette

Here is the Mini Palette and tips for wearing the colors if you are a Soft Autumn or Warm Autumn.

Cloud Grey and Brandied Cashmere start the palette for some lighter notes, followed by Warm Pebbled Grey. There are several reds ranging from Warm Merlot to Dark Sienna, mimicking the stages of blood drying. Dark Teal and Dark Marine Green echo zombie flesh while Warm Gunmetal rounds out the palette.
Tips for Warm Autumns
If you are a Warm Autumn and want to tap into your witchy side, look for similar colors that have a warmer base.
Colors like Dried Blood Red (how perfect- yes that is the name!) Twilight Blue, Jewel Green & Espresso.

Tips for Soft Autumns
For Soft Autumns gravitate to colors that are softer (more grey tone added) and warm but more towards neutral.
